the necessity of motivating or stimulating the thinking capabilities of our students has been frequently emphasized; in fact, this has even been suggested in a variety of bibliographical sources. however, it is necessary to think over the importance that such thinking capabilities have, as well as the different alternatives that can be generated to promote them in students. in this respect, the analogical process is proposed as one of the many effective activities to achieve this goal.
