Alcances regionales del financiamiento público en la Argentina: Una mirada de conjunto

the purpose of this article is to analyse the most relevant features, and its implications for regions, of the state support deployed in argentina after the convertibility period. the hypothesis is that most of the programs implemented have done little to reverse the existing inequalities and in many cases are contributing to make them deeper in certain -usually the poorest- provinces and regions of the country. from the financing point of view of the programs there are some elements to make a judgement about the relation between the political discourse on the generalization and intensity of regional development and the effectiveness and efficiency of the institutional (state) intervention. besides the legal/administrative description of the programs what really matters here is the analyses of evidences about empirical and concrete territorial deployment of the programs.
