Efecto del blendend learning sobre el rendimiento y la motivación de los estudiantes

summary this study examines different amounts of blended learning during the learning process, required in order to influence the learning performance and motivation of the students in an undergraduate course. the learning strategy used is the case method, as a particular way of problem based learning. the instructor？s role and effort are also explored at different levels (low, medium and high) of blend. a virtual platform was developed ad hoc. results suggest that: a) groups of students associated to the medium level of the mix gain a better performance. b) motivation of the students evolves positively in all experimental groups; in the case of medium level of blended learning the increase of the motivation is the greater. c) teacher？s effort measured in hours/activity is different for the three blended levels, exceeding the planned one for the medium and low groups.
