Background: In an era characterized by unprecedented market volatility, technological disruption, and geopolitical instability, organizations face mounting challenges in managing business uncertainty. Traditional risk management approaches, often reliant on historical data and static models, prove inadequate for navigating contemporary dynamic business environments. Predictive analytics, powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning, has emerged as a transformative capability for anticipating risks, optimizing decisions, and building organizational resilience. Objective: This study investigates the role of predictive analytics in managing business uncertainty through a comprehensive mixed-methods approach. Specifically, it examines how organizations leverage predictive analytics technologies, the mechanisms through which these technologies reduce uncertainty, the organizational capabilities required for effective implementation, and the outcomes achieved in terms of decision quality, risk mitigation, and competitive advantage. Methods: This research employs a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative phase involved a structured survey of 312 business executives and analytics professionals across multiple industries, measuring predictive analytics adoption, organizational capabilities, uncertainty management practices, and performance outcomes. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling and hierarchical regression. The qualitative phase comprised 28 semi-structured interviews with senior decision-makers and analytics leaders, analyzed through thematic analysis to explore implementation experiences, challenges, and strategic implications. Results: Quantitative findings reveal that predictive analytics adoption significantly reduces perceived business uncertainty (β = ?0.47, p < 0.001) and enhances decision-making quality (β = 0.52, p < 0.001). Organizations with mature predictive analytics capabilities demonstrate 34% higher resilience scores and 28% better risk mitigation outcomes compared to those with nascent capabilities. Qualitative analysis identified five key themes: (1) strategic foresight and anticipatory decision-making, (2) real-time risk monitoring and adaptive response, (3) data-driven organizational culture transformation, (4) integration challenges and capability gaps, and (5) ethical considerations in algorithmic decision-making. The integration of quantitative and qualitative findings
