Abstract:

The chiral Co-Zn-Mn alloy system has emerged as a promising candidate for room-temperature topological magnetic particles, owing to its elevated Curie temperatures. Samples currently used in research on the Co-Zn-Mn system are primarily grown and prepared using the flux method, resulting in samples of relatively small size. The preparation of relatively large-sized samples is crucial for systematic research and technological applications of room-temperature topological magnetism in the Co-Zn-Mn system. This study focuses on the composition of Co9Zn9Mn2 and achieves the growth of 5-gram scale Co9Zn9Mn2 crystals using a refined self-flux method and systematically investigated their magnetic properties.
