Abstract:

Fluorescent carbon dots (CDs) were prepared from Zanthoxylum schinifolium Sieb. et Zucc. Under the excitation and emission wavelengths of 315 nm and 425 nm respectively, the CDs can be used for the analysis and detection of Cu2+ in samples. At pH 7 and 25?C, the increase in lg [Cu2+] is directly proportional to the increase in the fluorescence intensity of CDs. The linear regression equation is ΔF = 121.41 lgc + 205.10, with a linear range of 0.1 mmol/L to 500 mmol/L and a correlation coefficient r = 0.9971. This method was applied to the determination of Cu2+ content in samples, with a recovery rate of 99% to 101%.
