文化翻译理论视域下电影《好东西》字幕翻译的有效性研究
A Study on the Effectiveness of Subtitle Translation in the Film “Good Things” from the Perspective of Cultural Translation Theory

随着跨文化现象的愈发普遍，高质量的电影翻译在电影文化传播中发挥着重要作用。但由于中西方文化背景和表达习惯的差异，在影视作品传播的过程中，可能会出现文化传递失效的现象。而字幕翻译作为连接不同文化和语言的桥梁有着极重要的作用。基于此，文章在文化翻译理论的视域下，结合电影《好东西》的中英文字幕，从词、短语、句子这三方面寻找与文化翻译理论原则相适配的内容，研究其有效性及对等性。与此同时，文章将提出提高字幕翻译有效性的建议，为其他译者提供可借鉴的翻译思路，更好地促进文化之间的沟通和交流。
With the increasing prevalence of cross-cultural phenomena, high-quality film translation plays an important role in the dissemination of film culture. However, due to the differences in cultural backgrounds and expression habits between the East and the West, there may be a phenomenon of cultural transmission failure in the dissemination of film and television works. Subtitle translation plays a crucial role as a bridge connecting different cultures and languages. Based on this, from the perspective of cultural translation theory, this article combines the Chinese and English subtitles of the movie “Good Things” to search for content that is compatible with the principles of cultural translation theory from three aspects: words, phrases, and sentences, and studies its effectiveness and equivalence. At the same time, the article will propose suggestions to improve the effectiveness of subtitle translation, provide reference translation ideas for other translators, and better promote communication and exchange between cultures.
