社会语言学视域下2022~2024年度流行语分析

Abstract:
流行语作为反映当下社会文化的重要话语表征,可以为观察社会变化、研究社会心态提供依据。本文的研究语料源于2022~2024年《咬文嚼字》编辑部筛选出的年度“十大流行语”。通过梳理近三年共30个流行语之后,研究发现:在语音特征方面,流行语的音节数量主要以三音节为主,语法特征主要以词和短语构成;产生方式上,主要包括复合词、语义泛化与派生词三种;在语义领域分布上,年度流行语主要集中于政治、社会生活、社会事件,而经济、科技创新领域的流行语则相对较少。通过对近三年流行语的研究,可以丰富网络热词的研究视野,以期为社会语言学的研究做出贡献。
As an important discourse characterization reflecting the current social culture, buzzwords can provide a basis for observing social changes and studying social mentality. The corpus of this paper comes from the annual “Top Ten Popular Words” screened by the editorial department of “Biting and Chewing Words” from 2022 to 2024. After combing through 30 buzzwords in the past three years, the study finds that: in terms of phonological features, the number of syllables in buzzwords is mainly trisyllabic, and grammatical features are mainly composed of words and phrases; in terms of production mode, it mainly includes three kinds of words: compound words, semantic generalization and derivatives; and in terms of the distribution of semantic domains, the buzzwords of the year are mainly concentrated in the areas of politics, social life, and social events, and relatively few of them are found in the areas of economy and scientific and technological innovations. The buzzwords of the year mainly focus on politics, social life and social events, while those in the fields of economy and science and technology innovation are relatively few. By studying the buzzwords in the past three years, we can enrich the research horizons of Internet buzzwords, with a view to contributing to the study of sociolinguistics.
