An Analysis of the Syntactic Functions of “ki” in Modern Uyghur Language

本文分析维吾尔语“ki”的句法功能。“ki”在带补充从句的主谓复合句中作为连接词，为状语、宾语和定语从句中的引导和标记。在联合复句中，它通过黏着性强化句子连接。总的来说，“ki”依附他词表达语法关系，引介从句和修饰，精准传达附加信息。
This article analyzes the syntactic functions of “ki” in the Uyghur language. In the subject-predicate compound sentences with supplementary clauses, “ki” serves as a conjunction and acts as a guide and marker in adverbial, object and attributive clauses. In the coordinate compound sentences, it strengthens the connection of sentences through its adhesiveness. Generally speaking, “ki” attaches to other words to express grammatical relations, introduces clauses and modifications, and accurately conveys additional information.
