Abstract:

文化是一个国家和民族的灵魂,民族史诗的外译为讲好中国故事注入新的动力。本文基于行动者网络理论(Actor-Network Theory, ANT),探讨柯尔克孜族史诗《玛纳斯》居素甫·玛玛依唱本在全球化背景下对提升中国文化国际影响力的重要作用。研究聚焦《玛纳斯》翻译与传播的行动者网络构建,详细分析了项目发起、翻译过程及出版传播三个阶段中多个行动者的角色与互动关系。本文认为,通过深入分析《玛纳斯》的翻译与出版网络,不仅可以更好地理解其文体特点、文化功能及表演特征,还能为民族史诗的外译与中国文化的国际传播提供理论支持与实践借鉴。《玛纳斯》作为世界级非物质文化遗产,其翻译与传播工作对促进跨文化对话、增强文化多样性具有重要意义,同时也为未来相关研究提供了新的视角与方向。
Culture is the key of a nation and its people, and the translation of ethnic epics injects new momentum into telling China’s stories well. Based on Actor-Network Theory (ANT), this paper explores the significant role of Gusev Mamay’s recension of the Kyrgyz epic “Manas” in enhancing China’s international cultural influence in the context of globalization. The study focuses on the construction of the actor-network in the translation and dissemination of “Manas”, analyzing in detail the roles and interactions of multiple actors across three stages: project initiation, translation process, and dissemination. This paper argues that by examining the translation and publication network of “Manas”, we can not only better understand its poetic characteristics, cultural functions, and performative features but also provide theoretical and practical insights for the translation of ethnic epics and the global promotion of Chinese culture. As a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the translation and dissemination of “Manas” hold great significance in fostering cross-cultural dialogue and enriching cultural diversity, while also offering new perspectives and directions for future research.
