基于自建语料库的《祝福》英译本译者风格对比研究

Abstract:
本研究旨在通过自建语料库，对《祝福》的两个英译本进行译者风格对比分析。选取的两个译本分别为1981年杨宪益、戴乃迭合译的版本和1990年威廉·莱尔的译本。通过对比分析，本研究旨在揭示两位译者在词汇选择和句法结构等方面的风格差异。研究发现，杨戴译本注重对原文风格的忠实再现；而莱尔译本则更重视词汇丰富度和句法复杂度，更注重目标语读者的接受度。
Through a self-constructed corpus, this study analyzes two English translations of The New Year’s Sacrifice in terms of a comparative analysis of translators’ styles. The two selected translations are the 1981 version co-translated by Yang Xianyi and Dai Naidian and the 1990 translation by William Lyall. Through the comparative analysis, this study aims to reveal the stylistic differences between the two translators in terms of vocabulary choice and syntactic structure. It is found that Yang Dai’ s translation focuses on the faithful reproduction of the style of the original text; while Lyle’s translation pays more attention to lexical richness and syntactic complexity, and is more focused on the acceptance of the target language readers.
