当代大学生对生成式人工智能赋能的英语口语练习态度研究

Abstract:
随着人工智能技术的快速发展,生成式人工智能在外语学习中的应用逐渐增多,尤其在英语口语练习方面展现出较大潜力。然而,大学生对这一新兴技术的接受度和态度仍需进一步探讨。本研究采用问卷调查的方法,调查了当代大学生对生成式人工智能赋能的英语口语练习的态度。研究结果表明,大多数学生对该技术持积极态度,同时,学生的人工智能使用焦虑与其人工智能自我效能感之间呈显著负相关,与其人工智能使用经验之间呈显著正相关。此外,大学生对人工智能赋能的英语口语练习的态度与其人工智能自我效能感之间存在显著正相关关系。本研究结果可为提升大学生的人工智能自我效能感、降低人工智能使用焦虑,以及优化人工智能在外语学习中的应用提供实证支持。
With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI has been increasingly applied in foreign language learning, particularly in English oral practice. However, university students’ acceptance and attitudes toward this emerging technology require further exploration. This study investigated students’ perceptions of generative AI-empowered English oral practice through questionnaire surveys. The results indicate that most students hold a positive attitude towards AI-assisted oral practice. Additionally, AI usage anxiety was found to be significantly negatively correlated with AI self-efficacy and positively correlated with AI usage experience. Furthermore, students’ attitudes towards AI-assisted oral practice showed a significant positive correlation with their AI self-efficacy. These findings provide empirical evidence for enhancing students’ AI self-efficacy, reducing AI-related anxiety, and optimizing the integration of AI technology into foreign language education.
