Objective: This study aims to analyze the application value of predictive nursing in laparoscopic urological surgery. Methods: From February 2022 to January 2024, 78 patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery in the urology department of our hospital were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received predictive nursing, while the control group received standard nursing care. Indicators such as the length of hospital stay, incidence of complications, pain levels (Visual Analogue Scale, VAS score), and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results: The length of hospital stay for the experimental group was (5.79 ± 0.85) days, significantly shorter than the control group’s (6.83 ± 0.97) days (P < 0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 0.0%, markedly lower than the control group’s 12.82% (P< 0.05). After the intervention, the VAS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate in the experimental group was 97.44%, higher than the control group’s 79.49% (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of predictive nursing in laparoscopic urological surgery can effectively shorten the length of hospital stay, reduce the incidence of complications, lessen pain intensity, and significantly improve patient satisfaction, demonstrating important clinical application value.
