The course of “Situation and Policy” is an important component of ideological and political education in universities. The spirit of scientists in the new era, an important embodiment of the great spirit of the Chinese nation, is an indispensable spiritual force in contemporary China. The integration of the spirit of scientists in the new era into the course of “Situation and Policy” not only enriches the course content and improves teaching quality, but also guides university students in establishing positive values, and further inspires their spirit of innovation, perseverance, and patriotism. Here, this work deeply analyzed the value logic and practical approaches in integrating the spirit of scientists in the new era into the course of “Situation and Policy” based on the connotation of the spirit of scientists in the new era.
