Exploring Zhu Shuzhen’s Evolving Views on Marriage through the Lens of Song Dynasty Marriage Concepts

朱淑真生活在宋代，她的诗作被广为传颂名扬天下，但是她的婚恋生活充满坎坷和挫折。从中国宋代对婚姻的理解及婚姻观类型来看，宋代沿袭严密的婚姻制度，“门当户对”、“父母之命”影响着人们的婚姻观念。从朱淑真的诗文看，她不是遵循传统的女性，她对婚姻的态度经历过憧憬、矛盾、平和。论文深入朱淑真的婚姻事实，结合分析其不同人生阶段对婚姻态度看法的诗文，她对婚姻的看法经过坚持追求真情、追求理解、追求精神交流的三个阶段。
Zhu Shuzhen lived during the Song Dynasty, and her poetry was widely circulated and renowned throughout the world. However, her romantic and marital life was fraught with difficulties and setbacks. From the perspective of the Song Dynasty’s understanding of marriage and its types of marital views, the Song Dynasty continued to adhere to a strict marriage system, with concepts such as “equal social status” and “parental arrangement” influencing people’s views on marriage. Judging from Zhu Shuzhen’s writings, she was not a woman who followed traditional norms. Her attitude towards marriage went through phases of anticipation, conflict, and eventual acceptance. This paper delves into the realities of Zhu Shuzhen’s marriage and analyzes her poetry from different stages of her life to explore her evolving views on marriage. Her perspective on marriage went through three stages: persisting in the pursuit of genuine affection, seeking understanding, and striving for spiritual communication.
