This research analysis examines the process of rolling mills in converting billets into finishing products, such as wire rods and flat sheets, with a specific focus on the impact of nanotechnology. The study highlights significant advancements in material properties, production efficiency, and sustainability achieved through the integration of nanotechnology in rolling processes. The findings show that nanotechnology enhances the mechanical properties of rolled products, resulting in improved tensile strength and reduced weight. Additionally, the application of nanostructured materials contributes to energy efficiency, with reported reductions in energy consumption by 10% - 20%. The analysis also reveals a marked decrease in defects and an improvement in surface quality, underscoring the role of nanotechnology in promoting high-quality manufacturing standards. Overall, this research emphasizes the transformative potential of nanotechnology in the rolling mill industry and its alignment with sustainability aims in modern manufacturing practices. This study employs a mixed-methods research design, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches to comprehensively assess the impact of nanotechnology on the rolling mill industry. The sample selection involved a stratified random sampling technique, targeting five rolling mills across different geographical locations to ensure a diverse representation of industry practices. Data collection techniques included structured surveys distributed to industry professionals and in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, such as production managers and materials scientists. The surveys focused on quantifying the perceived benefits and challenges of nanotechnology integration, while the interviews provided qualitative insights into specific applications and experiences. Quantitative data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis to identify the relationships between the use of nanotechnology and improvements in material properties and energy efficiency. Qualitative data were thematically analyzed to extract key themes and patterns related to the integration process and its implications. This comprehensive methodological approach enhances the clarity and credibility of the findings, providing a robust foundation for understanding the role of nanotechnology in the rolling mill industry.
