生态翻译学视域下《狮子王》字幕翻译研究

Abstract:
随着影视作品跨国传播的日益频繁，字幕翻译作为跨语言文化交流的重要媒介，其重要性日益凸显。本研究以迪士尼经典动画电影《狮子王》为研究对象，基于生态翻译学理论框架，对其字幕翻译进行系统性分析。研究聚焦于翻译生态环境对字幕翻译的影响机制及其具体表征，探讨译者在语言维、文化维和交际维等多维度上的适应与选择。研究发现，在生态翻译学视域下，字幕翻译是一个复杂的动态适应过程，译者需要在源语与目标语的生态语境中寻求最佳平衡，以实现跨文化传播效果的最优化。
With the increasing frequency of cross-border dissemination of film and television works, subtitle translation, as a crucial medium for cross-linguistic and cross-cultural communication, has become increasingly significant. This study takes Disney’s classic animated film The Lion King as its research subject and conducts a systematic analysis of its subtitle translation within the theoretical framework of Eco-Translatology. The research focuses on the influence mechanisms of the translational eco-environment on subtitle translation and their specific manifestations, exploring the adaptations and choices made by translators across multiple dimensions, including the linguistic, cultural, and communicative aspects. The findings reveal that, from the perspective of Eco-Translatology, subtitle translation is a complex and dynamic adaptive process, in which the translator needs to seek an optimal balance within the ecological contexts of the source and target languages to achieve the best possible cross-cultural communication outcomes.
