青年群体在多元社交媒体上的形象呈现研究

Abstract:
社交媒体的开放性与多样化,吸引了成千上万的用户。青年群体作为社交媒体用户的主要构成部分,根据自己的需求选择平台,同时活跃在不同的社交平台上,进行自我形象的构建与呈现。通过深度访谈,本文发现青年群体不仅同时栖息于多个社交平台,扮演不同角色,而且会根据“观众”的亲密等级进行划分,呈现出不同的形象特征。他们在进行印象管理的同时,也会受到他者的关注与监视,形象转变成为难题。与此同时,长期的平台摇摆行为,也会让用户疲于社交,产生形象危机。在这一过程中,青年群体不断进行着交往方式的调整,以适应不断变化的社会交往,实现自我需求的满足。
The openness and diversity of social media have attracted millions of users. As the main component of social media users, the youth group selects platforms based on their own needs and is active on different social platforms to construct and present their self-images. Through in-depth interviews, this paper finds that the youth group not only inhabits multiple social media platforms simultaneously and plays different roles, but also divides “audiences” according to their closeness levels, presenting different image characteristics. While managing their impressions, they are also subject to the attention and surveillance of others, making image transformation a challenge. At the same time, long-term platform shifting behavior can make users tired of socializing and lead to image crises. In this process, the youth group constantly adjusts their communication methods to adapt to the changing social interactions and meet their own needs.
