Starting from the analysis of Guangxi’s geographical location advantages in the current economic development of China’s reform and opening up, this article points out the importance and key role of Guangxi’s colleges and universities in the construction of this land-sea passage bridgehead, and analyzes the significance, necessity and urgency of the development and construction of Guangxi's colleges and universities. It analyzes the historical development and current situation of international student education in Guangxi’s colleges and universities, and summarizes some possible problems that international students in Guangxi’s colleges and universities may bring. It points out the origin of the research on the prevention of safety hazards for international students in Guangxi’s colleges and universities, introduces the research support for this issue. The importance of its research had been expounded, and elaborates on the research content and relevant references.
