Multi-Angle Examination of “N You”

本文运用“小三角”理论专题探讨“N你”这一名词动用语法现象。文章分三个部分展开：1) “N你”的语形特点；2) “N你”的语义特点；3) “N你”的语用价值。研究发现，在语形方面，“N你”能够和助词和谓词性短语组合，充当小句的句法成分。在语义方面，名词N具有表工具的语义特征，“N你”整体上表达“用NV你”的语义内涵。在语用方面，这一构式具有用语经济、反映说话人求简求新的心理倾向和具有浓厚的口语化色彩等特点。
This paper uses the theory of “small triangle” to discuss the grammar phenomenon of noun-to-verb conversion, specifically focusing on the structure “N you”. The article is divided into three parts: 1) The characteristics of syntactic form about “N you”; 2) The semantic characteristics of “N you”; 3) The pragmatic value of “N you”. It is found that, in terms of syntactic form, “N you” can combine with auxiliary words and predicate phrases to act as a syntactic component of small sentences. In the semantic aspect, the noun N has the semantic characteristics of the table tool, and “N you” expresses the semantic connotation of “use NV you” as a whole. In terms of pragmatic value, this configuration has the characteristics of language economy, reflecting the psychological tendency of the speaker seeking simplicity and new ideas, and having a strong colloquial color.
