Abstract:

字幕翻译应以译语观众为中心。本文旨在探讨电影《心灵奇旅》(Soul)在字幕翻译中的处理方式,尤其是从交际翻译理论的视角分析其字幕翻译策略。通过对《心灵奇旅》中文字幕翻译的意译、增译、改译三个翻译策略方面分析,本文探讨了在不同文化间进行翻译时,如何平衡忠实于原文和本土化需求,确保观众能够顺畅地理解和感知影片的核心情感与价值观。
Subtitle translation should be audience-centered. This paper aims to explore the handling of subtitle translation in the movie Soul, particularly analyzing its subtitle translation strategies from the perspective of Communication Translation Theory. By examining three translation strategies—free translation, addition, and adaptation—in the subtitle translation of Soul, this paper discusses how to balance fidelity to the original text and localization needs when translating across different cultures, ensuring that the audience can smoothly understand and perceive the core emotions and values of the film.
