Chinese national culture has a long history and profound heritage, and folklore, as a key part of it, not only carries rich historical memories and cultural characteristics, but also has great significance to the current cultural inheritance and social education. At a time of globalization and the rapid development of information technology, the modernization and dissemination of folklore face many opportunities and challenges. The traditional mode of communication has been impacted, the cultural ecology has been eroded, and excessive commercialization has affected its authenticity and connotation. Against this background, this paper focuses on the contemporary dissemination of folklore, discusses in-depth protection and innovation strategies, emphasizes its core values, actively promotes its integration with modern society, and promotes the prosperity of cultural ecology.
