《决疑数学》总引结构和内容分析

Abstract:
《决疑数学》标志着近代概率论传入中国之肇始。在研读原始材料基础上,以“为什么数学”为切入点,从历史逻辑、实践逻辑和辩证逻辑上,解析了该著作蓝本选择、术语翻译、概率体系、概率实质和发展简史等若干概率文化问题。从全新视角审视和探讨其中所蕴含概率精髓,有助于在立体历史文化语境中理解其本质和初衷,期冀能够唤醒和再现中国概率论这一历史节点的珍贵文化记忆。
Jue Yi Shu Xue marks the inception of modern probability theory in China. Based on a thorough study of primary sources, this work adopts the perspective of “Why Mathematics?” to analyze several cultural aspects of probability, including the selection of the source text, translation of terminology, the probabilistic framework, the essence of probability, and its brief historical development, explored from the perspectives of historical logic, practical logic, and dialectical logic. By reevaluating and exploring the probabilistic essence embedded in this text from a novel perspective, this study seeks to facilitate an understanding of its core and intent within a multidimensional historical and cultural context. It aspires to revive and reconstruct the valuable cultural memory of this pivotal historical moment in the transmission of probability theory in China.
