The spirit of struggle in the new era is a powerful spiritual driving force in the journey of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. As the vigorous vanguard on this path of progress, young college students must always maintain a posture of struggle and move forward bravely. Based on the connotation of the spirit of struggle in the new era, this paper emphasizes the necessity of integrating the spirit of struggle in the new era into the ideological and political education of college students. In view of the practical difficulties, it promotes the inheritance and practice of the spirit of struggle among college students in the new era, thereby stimulating their internal motivation for struggle, cultivating new era youths with firm struggle qualities and the courage to undertake the mission of the times, and contributing to the development of the country.
