Abstract:

Result: 1) There is a significant positive correlation between the sense of hope and the sense of meaning in life among impoverished college students, and a significant negative correlation between both and the perception of discrimination; 2) The perception of discrimination has a significant negative impact on the sense of hope among impoverished college students; 3) Perceived discrimination can also have an indirect negative impact on the sense of hope among impoverished college students through the mediating effect of a sense of meaning in life.
