Abstract:

Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) in conflict zones presents unique challenges that need tailored approaches to ensure resilience and continuity. This paper explores the intricacies of managing supply chains in areas affected by conflict, with a specific focus on the Pak-Afghan border. This study identifies noteworthy risks linked with operating in conflict zones, including transportation disruptions, regulatory uncertainties, and the potential for violence effecting personnel and assets. Additionally, this research work contributes to the mounting body of knowledge on SCRM in conflict zones, offering valuable insights for businesses and policymakers seeking to navigate the difficulties of operating in high-risk areas while ensuring the constancy and efficiency of their supply chains.
