《西游记》作为中国古典四大名著之一，不仅故事情节引人入胜，其兵器文化也极具特色。兵器的命名往往蕴含丰富的文化内涵和独特的表达方式。在翻译过程中，如何准确传达这些文化内涵成为翻译工作的难点之一。本文将从维汉对比的角度，基于功能对等理论视角下分析《西游记》中兵器名称的翻译方法以及文化对翻译的影响，以期为相关翻译实践提供借鉴。
Journey to the West, as one of the four Chinese classics, not only has a fascinating plot, but also has a distinctive weapon culture. The naming of weapons often contains rich cultural connotations and unique ways of expression. In the process of translation, how to accurately convey these cultural connotations has become one of the difficulties in translation. From the perspective of the contrast between Uyghur and Chinese, From the perspective of functional equivalence theory, this paper analyzes the translation methods of weapon names in Journey to the West and the influence of culture on translation in order to provide reference for the relevant translation practice.
