Mao Shi Zhuan Yi Lei is a special exegesis work. Traditional exegesis can be divided into categories such as textual exegesis, exegesis of interpretation with text, exegesis of Synonymous Interpretation Semantics, textual research exegesis, and note taking exegesis. The uniqueness of Mao Shi Zhuan Yi Lei lies in its form, which is the exegesis of Synonymous Interpretation Semantics, while its content is the exegesis of interpretation with text. This particularity makes its exegesis different from general monograph exegesis and annotation exegesis. It has had a significant impact on the study of the ShiJing and ErYa. The study of the exegesis of Mao Shi Zhuan Yi Lei is of great significance: on the one hand, it is an important component of the study of ErYa in the Qing Dynasty, and on the other hand, it also reflects the extremely high achievements of Mao’s poetic theory in the Qing Dynasty.
