This paper aims to analyze the inheritance and development status of Tujia culture, and explore its survival and innovation in modern society. Through methods such as literature analysis, literature review, and field research, it studies the basic characteristics of Tujia culture, including traditional customs, language, religious beliefs, and the role of families, communities, schools, and modern media in cultural inheritance. The research finds that Tujia culture faces challenges in inheritance. However, the support of government policies and the participation of the public provide a solid foundation for cultural preservation, and offer internal and external impetus for the innovation and sustainable development of Tujia culture.
