中国奥运报道中的国家形象建构——基于China Daily巴黎奥运会报道的及物性分析
The Construction of National Image in Chinese Olympic Reporting—Transitivity Analysis Based on China Daily’s Coverage of the Paris Olympics

体育报道是展示国家形象的重要载体。本研究以系统功能语法中的及物性系统为框架，分析《中国日报》(China Daily)英文版巴黎奥运会专栏新闻语篇中小句的及物性过程类型，探究各过程类型构建的概念意义。研究表明，China Daily巴黎奥运会专栏报道主要通过物质过程、关系过程、言语过程和心理过程四类及物性过程陈述与赛事本身、参赛及其他相关主体有关的事件和状况，较为权威、客观，对塑造国家、民族以及集体的认同感具有积极作用。
Sports report is a critical carrier to show the national image. Based on the framework of transitivity in Systemic Functional Grammar, this study analyzes the transitive process types of reports from the Paris Olympic Games column in China Daily and explores the conceptual meaning of each process type. The research shows that China Daily’s report on the Paris Olympic Games, which is more authoritative and objective, mainly describes the events and conditions related to the event itself, the participants and other relevant subjects through four kinds of transitivity processes: material process, relational process, verbal process and mental process, and plays a positive role in shaping the sense of national, ethnic and collective identity.
