The Ming Dynasty was a glorious era in the history of Chinese painting. Female painters emerged during this period and achieved remarkable achievements in the field of fan painting with their unique artistic style and superb skills. This paper aims to explore the creative characteristics, subject selection, artistic style and social and cultural background of female painters in the Ming Dynasty in fan painting. By analyzing specific painters and works, it reveals their important position and unique contribution in the history of art in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
