|
Abstract:
Based on panel data, this paper deeply summarizes and extracts the factors affecting the subjective well-being of Chinese rural residents from three aspects: demographic characteristics, family econo-mic characteristics, and regional socioeconomic characteristics. By controlling the above factors, the Ordered Xtlogit model is used to examine the direct impact of participating in the New Rural Cooperative Medical System on subjective well-being, and the PSM method is used to verify the robustness and reliability of the results. Secondly, with disposable income as the mediating variable, a mediation effect model is constructed, and the indirect impact mechanism of participating in the New Rural Cooperative Medical System on subjective well-being is found; finally, the heterogeneity of participating in the New Rural Cooperative Medical System on subjective well-being is analyzed in terms of income level and age structure.
