New technologies have given rise to new ecosystems, and in recent years, metaverse technology has received widespread attention. Attempting to empower the innovative development of Qinzhou Old Street with the metaverse can become an important path for the digital development of Qinzhou’s cultural and tourism industry. This article takes the current situation of Qinzhou Old Street as the starting point, explores the necessity and importance of innovative development of Qinzhou Old Street, and proposes the use of metaverse technology to construct a collision and fusion of virtual and real scenes, create a real virtual world, and promote the revitalization of Qinzhou Old Street on the basis of the original cultural industry, providing new reference directions for the practical application of metaverse and the adaptation of Qinzhou Old Street to the development of the times.
