关联理论视角下典故翻译研究——以《长生殿》为例
A Study on Allusion Translation from the Perspective of Relevance Theory—Taking The Palace of Eternal Youth as an Example

作为传统戏剧，《长生殿》反映了特定社会历史时期的政治文化风貌，有着浓郁的中华文化特色。典故的使用成就了该作品的艺术特质，且成为了翻译的难点。本文以关联理论为基础，深入探索杨宪益和戴乃迭夫妇对该作品的翻译，归纳相关典故翻译手段，分析对应的语用效果与功能。总体来讲，杨戴夫妇的译文高度跨越语言个性，构建原文与译文的关联，实现交际意图，提升国际影响。此外，该研究对关联理论指导的英译具有一定的参考借鉴价值。
As a traditional drama, The Palace of Eternal Youth reflects the political and cultural landscape of a specific social and historical period, and has strong Chinese cultural characteristics. The use of allusions has contributed to the artistic characteristics of the work and has become a difficult point in translation. This article, based on relevance theory, explores in depth its translation by Yang Xianyi and Dai Naidie. It summarizes the relevant approaches of allusion translation and analyzes the corresponding pragmatic effects and functions. Overall, this translation transcends linguistic individuality, connects the source and the translated, achieves communicative intent, and enhances international influence. In addition, this study is of certain reference value for the Chinese-English translation guided by relevance theory.
