《红楼梦》中“罢了”的用法及其语义考察
The Usage and Semantic Examination of “Bale” in Dream of the Red Chamber

本文采用共时和历时相结合的方法，考察了《红楼梦》中的陈述句末语气词“罢了”的用法及其语义，探讨了“罢了”几种语气之间的关系。语气词“罢了”的用法，主要包括五种：表示评价语气、表示让步语气、表示祈使或感叹语气、表示决断语气以及表示允诺或肯定语气。《红楼梦》中语气词“罢了”语义关系复杂，这是说话人将客观情况与主观预设比较、进行言语分析和推理，以及受特定语境影响下的结果。
Using a combination of synchronic and diachronic methods, this study examines the usage and semantic evolution of the modal particle “Bale” at the end of declarative sentences in Dream of the Red Chamber, and explores the evolutionary relationship between several moods of “Bale”. The usage of the modal particle “Bale” in Dream of the Red Chamber mainly includes five types: expressing evaluative tone, expressing concession tone, expressing imperative or exclamation tone, expressing decisive tone, and expressing promise or affirmation tone. The semantic evolution of the modal particle “Bale” in Dream of the Red Chamber is the result of the speaker comparing objective situations with subjective assumptions, conducting linguistic analysis and reasoning, and being influenced by specific contexts.
