Abstract:

在全球化的时代背景下,英语作为一种国际通用语言,不仅在国际交流中扮演着重要的角色,而且在国内的教育体系中也越发受到关注,英语学习一直是中学教育的重要组成部分。然而,如何有效激发中学生的英语学习动机,提高他们的学习效率和兴趣,一直是教育工作者探索的重点问题。本文基于马斯洛的需要层次理论,探讨了影响中学生英语学习动机的主要因素,并在此基础上提出了相应的激发策略,包括建立目标导向的学习环境;提供有趣和相关的学习内容;赋予学生控制权;建立积极的学习氛围;提供及时的反馈,目的在于为中学生英语学习动机的提高提供可能的策略。
In the context of globalization, English, as a universal international language, not only assumes a crucial role in international communication but also attracts increasing attention within the domestic education system. English learning has consistently constituted an essential component of middle school education. Nevertheless, how to effectively stimulate the English learning motivation of middle school students and enhance their learning efficiency and interest has always been a key issue explored by educators. Based on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory, this paper discusses the main factors influencing middle school students’ English learning motivation and, on this basis, proposes corresponding stimulating strategies, this includes creating a goal-oriented learning environment; providing interesting and relevant learning content; giving students control; creating a positive learning atmosphere; and providing timely feedback, with the aim of offering possible tactics for improving the English learning motivation of middle school students.
