随着互联网的迅速发展，短视频凭借其操作简单、信息获取及时、社交性强等传播特点，深深地融入了老年人的日常生活，成为老年人自主获取信息、丰富精神世界、寻求社会交往的重要渠道。然而，长时间观看短视频不仅损害老年人的身体健康，还可能导致心理健康问题、消费陷阱及价值观扭曲等危害。为应对这一问题，应提供家庭关爱与支持、强化平台责任与社会监督、提升老年人媒介素养、丰富线下生活及加强政府监管与政策引导，旨在为老年人营造健康安全的网络环境，促进老年人身心健康发展。
With the rapid development of the Internet, short videos have been deeply integrated into the daily life of the elderly by virtue of their simple operation, timely information acquisition, and strong social characteristics, and have become an important channel for the elderly to obtain information independently, enrich the spiritual world, and seek social interactions. However, watching short videos for a long time not only harms the health of the elderly, but also may lead to mental health problems, consumption traps, and distorted values. In order to deal with this problem, it is necessary to provide family care and support, enhance platform responsibility and social supervision, improve the media literacy of the elderly, enrich offline life, and strengthen government supervision and policy guidance, aiming to create a healthy and safe network environment for the elderly and promote the healthy development of their physical and mental health.
