Abstract:

自启蒙以来,现代性塑造着我们的生活,但这种塑造是双向的,在带来便利的同时,也使得工作压力更大,加班更为频繁。本研究在马克思劳动过程理论与职场侵占理论的指导下,通过logistic回归分析,发现1) 工作强度越高,加班概率越高;2) 工作压力越大,加班概率越高;3) 需要远程待机的工人比没有这一要求的工人加班概率越高。这印证了马尔库塞等学者的担忧,当代社会机构对工人的控制程度更深、控制方式也更加多样。最后对于现存的加班现象,尤其是远程待机此类隐形加班的危害进行总结,对提出针对企业和政府两个主体提出相应建议。
Since the Enlightenment, modernity has shaped our lives in a dual way: while it brings convenience, it also increases work pressure and leads to more frequent overtime. Guided by Marx’s Labour Process Theory and Workplace Incivility Theory, this study employs logistic regression analysis and finds that: 1) higher work intensity is associated with a higher probability of overtime; 2) greater work pressure leads to a higher likelihood of overtime; and 3) workers required to remain on remote standby are more likely to work overtime compared to those without such demands. This corroborates the concerns raised by scholars like Marcuse, suggesting that contemporary social institutions exert deeper and more diverse forms of control over workers. Finally, the study summarizes the negative impacts of the prevalent overtime culture, particularly the hidden overtime associated with remote standby, and offers corresponding recommendations for both businesses and governments.
