山东龙山黑陶文化诞生于距今四千多年前的新石器时期晚期，是继仰韶彩陶文化之后的优秀品种。它主要以黑色陶器为特征，故称之为“黑陶文化”。但就目前的龙山黑陶文化市场发展前景来看，它的社会影响力不能满足其发展需求，公众对龙山黑陶文化缺乏了解，因此需要加强宣传力度。龙山黑陶文化馆的建造可以满足人们的文化需要和审美追求，吸引人群走进文化展馆，趣味性了解龙山黑陶文化，从而实现该文化的传承与发展。龙山黑陶文化馆是结合传统龙山文化、创新展示形式的现代文化展馆，以黑陶文化为中心，以龙山文化为出发点，满足展示的基础功能，进行空间形式和展馆特色的设计，打造一场“文化”潮流。
