依托“国家战略”探索定向体育赛事高质量发展对甘肃省打造品牌赛事和促进全民健身给予强大推动力。对甘肃省开展定向系列赛事情况进行分析，经研究认为：甘肃省定向体育赛事发展先天不足后天乏力、但开展定向体育赛事基础好、机会多。依托体育强国路战略推进国际体育赛事合作为交流点、深入贯彻全民健身战略为出发点、培育体育赛事 + 旅游为增长点、强化赛事风险管理为基本点、赛事可持续发展为落脚点、打造赛事品牌为突破点，借助“体育强国”战略的新格局促进甘肃定向体育赛事高质量发展。
Relying on the “national strategy” to explore the high-quality development of orienteering sports events, Gansu Province has given a strong impetus to build brand events and promote national fitness. Based on the analysis of the series of orienteering events in Gansu Province, it is concluded that the development of orienteering sports events in Gansu Province is congenitally insufficient and weak, but the foundation for orienteering sports events is good and there are many opportunities. Relying on the strategy of building a strong country through sports, promoting cooperation in international sports events as the exchange point, thoroughly implementing the national fitness strategy as the starting point, cultivating sports events + tourism as the growth point, strengthening event risk management as the basic point, sustainable development of the event as the foothold, and building the event brand as the breakthrough point, with the help of the new pattern of the “sports power” strategy to promote the high-quality development of orienteering sports events in Gansu.
