生态批评视角下《冬》的生态思想研究

Abstract:
阿莉·史密斯被誉为现当代最富有潜力的苏格兰作家，是现代主义作家弗吉尼亚·沃尔夫的继承者之一。《冬》是其“季节四部曲”的第二部作品，2017年一经发表就赢得无数好评。小说通过五位主要人物的对话，探讨了有关环保和政治的话题，展现了后脱欧时代英国民众面临的精神困境，也反映了史密斯的生态思想。文章从生态批评的视角对《冬》进行解读，揭示文中主要人物在自然生态、社会生态及精神生态上面临的危机。
Ali Smith has been hailed as one of the most promising Scottish writers of the present generation, and is one of the successors to modernist writer Virginia·Woolf. Winter, the second book in her Seasonal Quartet, won numerous positive reviews upon its publication in 2017. Through the dialogues of the five main characters, the novel expounds on the subjects of environmental protection and politics, showing the spiritual dilemma faced by the British people in the post-Brexit era, and also reflecting Smith’s ecological thoughts. This paper interprets Winter from the perspective of ecocriticism, revealing the crises faced by the main characters in the text in terms of natural ecology, social ecology and spiritual ecology.
