This article summarizes Professor Xie Ping’s experience in treating subchorionic hematomas. Professor Xie believes that the fundamental pathogenesis of subchorionic hematomas is a deficiency in the spleen and kidneys, with “stasis of blood” being the main pathological product. She has proposed the “three reviews” treatment principle: first, to assess the presence or absence of clinical symptoms to determine the urgency of the condition; second, to evaluate the size of the hematoma to decide the need for a combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine; and third, to monitor the progression of the disease to predict the prognosis.
