The teaching organization and implementation of mechanical design course design are the top-level guidance and important guarantees for delivering excellent design courses. Based on the current situation of college students and the requirements of the school’s professional training objectives and plans, several thoughts are proposed, such as the knowledge system of mechanical design course design, ideological and political construction of the course, teaching quality, and teaching team.
