Red culture has a profound historical background and rich spiritual connotations. Promoting red culture in the new era is of great significance for the endeavor to build a great country. The continuation of Gaotan red culture holds the significance for advancing the “Two Combinations” and firmly establishing the “Four-Confidence” in the new era. This article delves into how to further promote the Gaotan red culture in the new era. Firstly, this article illustrates the era connotations of Gaotan red culture. Secondly, based on the characteristics of Gaotan red culture, this article further explores the values and practical paths of integrating Gaotan red culture into ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges. Last but not least, it emphasizes the importance of promoting Gaotan red culture in the new era to socialist culture construction as well as to ideological and political education.
