In the context of ongoing educational reform, the teaching model based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) concept has become a hot topic in the field of education. This article focuses on biomedical general courses, exploring effective ways to integrate the OBE concept and innovate hybrid teaching methods aimed at enhancing students’ learning experiences and outcomes. Taking the course “From Nobel Prizes to Human Life” as an example, this paper presents a comprehensive hybrid teaching model that cleverly combines online and offline teaching methods, with a strong emphasis on student learning outcomes and personalized learning support. The proposed OBE-based hybrid teaching model for biomedical general courses aligns with modern educational reform trends, providing students with high-quality learning resources and tailored support. The practice and application of this teaching model will serve as a valuable reference for the reform of biomedical general courses.
