This paper aims to explore the application of CMF (color, material, finishing) in modular seat design to improve the functionality, aesthetics and user experience of the product. This paper analyzes the relevant theoretical basis and design principles of modular design and CMF design, and deeply explores the details of CMF application in actual cases. The discussion shows that CMF design can not only improve the visual effect and user experience of the seat, but also enhance the flexibility and diversity of the product. Through design practice, this paper proposes a series of innovative modular furniture design solutions, which provides new ideas and directions for modular furniture design combined with CMF.
