The Olympic Games have been widely concerned throughout the world and have been monitored all the time. However, moral anomie still occurs frequently on and off the Olympic Games, and the trend of moral governance failure has emerged. The moral governance failure in the Olympic Games is mainly reflected in three aspects: the weakening regulating function to moral norms, the insufficient main coordination in moral supervision and the invalid sports rights and interests protection. The formation of Olympic moral governance failure results from the joint impact of governance environment, governance subject and governance object. Confronted with the actual challenge of the Olympic moral governance failure, Paris sets up Ethics Committee under the Organizing Committee for the first time in the history of Olympic, and opened a totally new chapter in moral governance. Paris 2024 builds a comprehensive supervision system by cooperating with multiple bodies and improves the ethical governance standard on and off the Olympic Games by perfecting governance rules and creating governance mechanisms and platforms proactively. Paris 2024 addresses the challenge ethical governance failure with its unique ethical governance framework, which provides Paris wisdom for the continuous progress in Olympic Games ethical governance.
