The article deeply discusses a series of environmental problems that arise in the process of mineral resource development, including geological disasters, air pollution and unreasonable consumption of resources. The article analyzes the current situation of insufficient supervision of mine environ-mental protection, insufficient investment of environmental protection funds by enterprises, and incomplete environmental protection policies and laws and regulations. On this basis, it proposes strategies such as strengthening mine geological environment monitoring, building a mine environmental protection responsibility system, using advanced technology to increase protection efforts and improving environmental protection mechanisms to improve the level of mine environmental protection management. Finally, it emphasizes that mining companies should assume social responsibilities, and the government and all sectors of society need to work together to promote the sustainable development of the mining industry and achieve the rational use of resources and long-term protection of the ecological environment.
