Professor Liu Li’s Experience in Treating Phlegm-Dampness PCOS Infertility

刘丽教授认为“肾虚痰湿”是痰湿型多囊卵巢综合征( polycystic ovary syndrome, PCOS)不孕症发生发展的核心病机，提出以温肾健脾，化痰除湿为治疗原则，以补肾健脾、活血利水为治疗根本，调补冲任为治疗核心，将理气化痰法贯穿全程，依据三因理论，灵活运用苍附导痰化裁方，指导患者从饮食、起居、情绪管控等方面来进一步调节患者异常代谢和生殖内分泌症状，改善受孕情况等。
Professor Liu Li believes that “kidney deficiency and phlegm-dampness” is the core pathogenesis of infertility of phlegm-dampness polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and proposes to warm the kidney and strengthen the spleen, remove phlegm and dehumidification as the treatment principle, tonifying the kidney and strengthening the spleen, promoting blood circulation and rehydrating water as the treatment basis, and regulating adjusting the Chong and Ren as the treatment core. The method of regulating qi and eliminating phlegm throughout the whole process, according to the theory of three factors, flexibly use modified Cangfu Daotan Decoction decoction to guide patients to further regulate abnormal metabolism and reproductive endocrine symptoms from the aspects of diet, daily living, emotional control, etc., and improve pregnancy.
