GRE语文分数与托福雅思阅读分数的相关性研究

Abstract:
本文根据新东方某分中心GRE学员数据，针对学员GRE语文部分出分情况及该学员的托福(TOEFL)/雅思(IELTS)考试阅读分数进行定量分析。同时本文给出部分统计方法，对比托福考生及雅思考生在GRE语文考试中的分数呈现，探讨托雅考试阅读分数与GRE语文分数之间的相关关系，并对托福、雅思考生未来对于GRE备考的影响做了探究。
This study, using data from one of the centers in New Oriental, focuses on a quantitative analysis of students’ GRE verbal scores, as well as their TOEFL/IELTS reading scores. In the meantime, the study presents several statistical methods to compare the GRE verbal performance of TOEFL test-takers and IELTS test-takers, exploring the correlation between these tests, and investigating the implications for future GRE preparation for both TOEFL and IELTS students.
